Background of the Study
Effective resource allocation is a critical function of local governments, as it determines how financial resources are distributed to achieve developmental goals and meet the needs of the community. In Alkaleri LGA, Bauchi State, governmental accounting plays a vital role in ensuring that resources are allocated in a manner that promotes social welfare and economic growth. Statement of the Problem
